Michael David Schulman
Michael David Schulman Michael David Schulman CPA/PFS is the third generation owner of Schulman CPA, a full service tax, accounting, and auditing firm founded in 1952. In 1999, the AICPA awarded him the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation and in 2013 formed Blue Flamingo Wealth Management LLC to provide fee only personal financial planning services. (For more on the PFS designation, please click here.) In 2002, Michael formed Excelsior Senior Advisors LLC to provide Elder Planning services those who are (or are about to become) older adults.

Michael is a frequent speaker on tax and financial planning topics, has written numerous articles for newspapers and professional journals, and has appeared on television and radio.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the New York State Society of CPAs, and the Florida Institute of CPAs and is active on financial planning and elder planning committees. He serves as a lecturer for the Foundation for Accounting Education, the education arm of the NYSSCPA.

In addition to his professional certifications, Mike holds academic degrees MIT, U.C. Berkeley, and Fordham University. He holds the FINRA Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam) licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses.
